We serve as the channel through which donors may be assured of good warehousing practices, equitable distribution, and accountability to the member agencies, as well as to the needy.We educate the public about the nature of… and the solutions to… the problems of malnutrition and health.We encourage donors to practice the good stewardship of donating, not dumping, usable surplus food.
Operation Blessing International (OBI)
Operation Blessing International (OBI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to demonstrating God’s love by alleviating human need and suffering in the United States and around the world. One of the largest charities in America, Operation Blessing provides strategic relief in 23 countries on a daily basis through core programs such as disaster relief, health and medical care, hunger relief, vulnerable children and orphan care, safe water and community development.
HELPING IN HIS NAME
Helping In His Name Ministries, Inc., usually referred to as “The Food Pantry”, is an ecumenical, non-profit organization that provides temporary emergency help to the unemployed, the underemployed, elderly people on fixed incomes, and single parents on a biweekly or monthly basis. No one with a legitimate need is refused help.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at a fraction of their retail price. The proceeds generated by the ReStore are used to build homes and hope in our community and around the world
